Meander along the lovely trails of Armstrong Redwoods amidst the towering old growth redwoods enjoying appetizers prepared by local chefs, wine tasting, entertainment by local musicians, art demonstrations and an exhibition of fine art for sale in the historic Redwood Forest Theater.

Gourmet Hike tickets are no longer available online. Call the Stewards' office for availability Friday between the hours of 9 and 3:00 - (707) 869-9177.

There are two option for enjoying this event:

Gourmet Hike & Art in the Park: $35 per person, 2 for $65 - Very limited availability as of 7/15/10.
Starts in the Group Picnic Area where you will start off with Champagne, an appetizer and music provided by The Mighty Chiplings and artists demonstrating their talent. You will then proceed down the Pioneer Trail where you will enjoy visiting with more artists, two stops for appetizers and wine tasting, entertainment provided by Happenstance and an educational experience with our special docents. Your final stop will be the Redwood Forest Theater, where you will enjoy your final appetizer paired with a taste of wine, dessert with coffee or tea, entertainment provided by Edgehog and Jim Ocean and a fabulous art display with more demonstrations.

Art in the Park and Dessert: $10 per person - There should be no problem getting tickets at the gate.
Walk to the Redwood Forest Theater from your parking location and enjoy dessert with coffee or tea, entertainment provided by Edgehog and Jim Ocean and a fabulous art display with artist demonstrations.

Food donated by: Applewood Inn, Jenner Bistro, Chef Patrick's, Corks and Coffee Bazaar

Wine donated by: Korbel Champagne, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Old World Winery and Russian River Vineyards

Enertainment donated by: The Mighty Chiplings, Happenstance, Jim Ocean and Edgehog

DIRECTIONS: From River Road in Guerneville, travel 2 miles north on Armstrong Woods Rd, the Gourmet Hike starts in the Group Picnic Area and the Art in the Park Exhibition and Sale will take place in the Redwood Forest Theater.

PARKING: Regular day-use parking fees apply - $8 per car. There is limited free parking in the parking lot at the park entrance. Those with special needs should call (707) 869-9177 for specific parking information and shuttle service. A shuttle will be available to take those in need from the Forest Theater back to their cars.

ADMISSION: Tickets for the Gourmet Hike and Art in the Park (all inclusive) - $35 per adult or 2 adults for $65
Tickets for just Art in the Park (exhibition and demonstrations in the Forest Theater) and dessert - $10 per person. Wine may be purchased separately.

Dogs and other domesticated pets are not allowed in the forest theater or on the trails.
Smoking is prohibited in the theater.

Note: Tickets are limited and non-refundable; however, they are transferable. Email stewards@mcn.org to change the name on your reservation.

Purchasing Tickets

Online Sales - Tickets will be on sale through our online box office until Thursday, July 15 at 5:00 pm. Art in the Park tickets will also be on sale on the day of the event. Check this web page to find out if the Gourmet Hike is sold out. Tickets are available for purchase through paypal for no additional fees. PayPal takes Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover cards. You do not have to sign up for PayPal to use this system.
