Colonel James B. Armstrong, His Family and His Legacy - Published in 2009, this book is the most comprehensive history of Colonel James B. Armstrong and his family's legacy written. Authors Doris Dickenson and Dr. Carmen Finley have researched and written a book that will capture your interest and respect for the tenacity of those who finally preserved Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve in 1936.
DVD Companion: Colonel James B. Armstrong, His Family and His Legacy - This narrated version of the book tells the story of Colonel James B. Armstrong in an entertaining 53 minute DVD using a PowerPoint format.
Parson Jones: The Life and Times of Rev. William Ladd Jones - Published in 2010, this book is a comprehensive history of the man who married Lizzie Armstrong, Colonel James B. Armstrong's daughter. Authors and researchers Doris Dickenson and Dr. Carmen Finley have done and excellent job capturing an interesting story that includes excerpts from his personal diary.
