Stewards offers special educational opportunities and programs for the general public. We operate two visitor centers staffed by State Parks Volunteer Docents. We have also created a number of interactive, in-field opportunities for the public to safely explore and learn about the flora, fauna, geology and history of our wonderful local State Parks. Most of these opportunities are offered free-of-charge. In addition, the public can attend special Docent and Community Education Seminars for a nominal fee of $15.

Groups can book private docent-led educational tours, programs and hikes (reservations at least 2 weeks in advance are recommended). To do so, simply register online by filling out our Online Reservation Form for Adult Groups. Donations of $5-$10 per person are appreciated, as they help us continue to provide free docent-led environmental education programs for school groups through our School Group Education Programs.
